Our onboarding team verifies the information provided by each helper, and only a percentage of applicants are approved to join our platform. While we strive to offer the most accurate profiles, please note that helpers are not directly employed by us, and we are not responsible for their behaviour. We strongly encourage families to conduct their own due diligence, including re-checking information with the helper and contacting their previous employers for feedback.

Yaya offers you three ways to contact all helpers on our platform. For privacy-minded individuals, you can chat directly via our secure in-app messaging system or call the helper directly. Alternatively, you can contact them via WhatsApp. Please note, helpers are often working during the day, so there may be some delay in how quickly they reply to families.

Yaya’s smart algorithms not only show when a helper last logged onto our platform but also track their job search activity, rewarding those who are most active. Additionally, our system automatically deactivates profiles that have been inactive for over three weeks, ensuring that you only see active and engaged helpers.

Yes, Yaya provides helpers for both full-time live-in and live-out roles, as well as temporary or short-term assignments like part-time work. Our services are available across all seven Emirates. Using our advanced filters, you can easily find the exact type of profile you are looking for, ensuring a perfect match for your family’s specific needs.

Yes and no. Unlike other platforms, Yaya offers the ability for helpers to contact families directly based on the preferences set during onboarding. Families can decide if they want to be contacted by all helpers or only those who match their specific preferences, giving you control over the communication process.

At Yaya, salary discussions are conducted directly between you and the helper. Each helper lists their desired salary in their profile, typically ranging from 2000 to 4000 AED per month. Unlike agencies, using Yaya means all your payments go directly towards the helper’s salary, ensuring full transparency and fairness.

Yaya is not an agency and we do not sponsor helpers. By law, the sponsorship must be handled by the employer. There are now services that make this process very simple and fully online. We can connect you with these services if you need any assistance.
